  1. Good day to you all. May I please point out that that this is not the photograph of Mysore Tiger Tippu Sultan. It is of Sheik Hamad bin Muhammad bin Juma bin Rajab el Murjebi, Alias Tipu Tipp. Tippu Tip, or Tib (1832 – June 14, 1905), real name Hamad bin Muhammad bin Juma bin Rajab el Murjebi, was a Omani Swahili-Zanzibari slave trader. An ivory trader, Salve trader, explorer, plantation owner and governor, he worked for a succession of the Omani Sultans of Zanzibar. Tippu Tip traded in slaves for Zanzibar's clove plantations. As part of the large and lucrative ivory trade, he led many trading expeditions into Central Africa by constructing profitable trading posts that reached deep into the region. He bought the ivory from local suppliers and resold it for a profit at coastal ports. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tippu_Tip . The dress attire he is wearing is Omani worn in Oman (far east corner of Arabia and Zanzibar). That is very clear. He was a former governor and was the man behind the power of the Omani Sultans in Zanzibar mainly Sultan Bargash bin Said Al Said - Sultan of Zanzibar 1870 - 1888. Thank you. Hamoud from Oman.
